Luke Stocker is in his first season coaching in the NFL following 11 years in the NFL as a player. 

Stocker, who attended the University of Tennessee, also spent part of his professional career in Tennessee. He was signed by the Titans as a free agent during the 2017 campaign and stayed with the club through 2018, head coach Mike Vrabel's first season in Tennessee. He also returned for training camp in 2021. In 19 games with the Titans (13 starts), he totaled 16 receptions for 177 yards and two touchdowns, while serving in a key role as a blocker in the running game. 

A fourth-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2011 NFL Draft, Stocker spent six-plus seasons with the Buccaneers until joining the Titans. He later appeared in games for the Atlanta Falcons (2019-20) and Minnesota Vikings (2021). In 142 career games, he registered 91 starts and 85 receptions for 705 yards and five touchdowns. He also participated in two postseason games with the Titans following the 2017 campaign. 

In his final season as a player with the Vikings in 2021, he played in 12 contests and caught two passes for 12 yards.  

Stocker's totals in two seasons with the Falcons included 15 receptions for 116 yards in 31 games with 22 starts. His 13 starts in 2020 tied his career high.  

In 2018, his only full season with the Titans, he played in all 16 games and notched 11 starts. He matched a career high with 165 receiving yards with a career-best two touchdowns, while his 15 receptions marked the second-highest total of his career. The Titans ranked seventh in the NFL in rushing offense with 114.4 yards per game, as Derrick Henry emerged with his first career 1,000-yard rushing season (1,059).

Stocker appeared in 80 games with 56 starts during his time in Tampa Bay, which ran from 2011 through Week 12 of the 2017 season. He contributed 52 receptions for 400 yards and three touchdowns with the Buccaneers. In 2012, he set career highs with 16 receptions and 165 receiving yards (later tied in 2018).  

A graduate of Madison Southern High School in Berea, Ky., Stocker went on to the University of Tennessee (2007-10), where he tied a then-school record with 52 career games played and graduated with a degree in sport management. He started the final 38 consecutive games of his career with the Volunteers and totaled 85 receptions for 956 yards and eight touchdowns. As a team captain during his senior season, he finished with 39 receptions for 417 yards to rank third on team in both categories, while adding two touchdowns. 

He and his wife, Daine, have three children: son Liam and daughters Collins and Laurel.
