The Heimerdinger Foundation’s mission is to enable families affected by cancer to have the necessary information, patient support, and resources to seek out effective treatment options. Because having nourishing meals can make a vital difference to cancer patients undergoing treatment, Meals2Heal utilizes local chefs and a team of volunteers to deliver wholesome and delicious meals, and also counsels clients on the difference that quality food can make in their healing.
“Meals2Heal has a direct impact on the lives of people fighting cancer, and Drive 4 Dinger provides the necessary funding to support this amazing program,” said Kathie Heimerdinger. “Last year’s event raised over $100,000, provided over 800 meals for our clients fighting cancer and was a lot of fun. We’re really excited about what this year’s event will bring. Our goal is to make Drive 4 Dinger even bigger and better this year.”
