NASHVILLE, Tenn. Michael Griffin is joining in the fight to stop diabetes, a disease afflicting more than 600,000 Tennesseans. The Titans safety will host the Strikes To Stop Diabetes celebrity bowling tournament on Mon., Sept. 15 at Hillwood Strike & Spare Family Fun Center.

The Strikes to Stop Diabetes bowling event was hosted by former Titans coach Mike Munchak the past two years. After Munchak’s departure earlier this year, Griffin has stepped up in support of the event.

“I am really excited to host the Strikes to Stop Diabetes event,” said Griffin. “I am a big bowler, and I have loved playing in the event with my teammates in the past. I am honored to serve as the host this year, and help join in the fight against Diabetes.”

The Dreambuilders Foundation will host the event from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 15, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the American Diabetes Association. Participants will get to bowl with some of their favorite NFL players, enjoy great food and drinks, receive a souvenir shirt and participate in silent and live auctions filled with some amazing memorabilia and experiences.

Sponsorships and bowling teams start as low as $1,200, and can be reserved by calling 615-535-3140, or emailing events@dreambuildersfoundation.com.
