NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans are supporting Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital’s Patient Clothing Closet with a donation of 150 official Titans polos, T-shirts and jackets.
In addition, the Titans are donating a percentage of coats received from the team’s annual Coat Drive to be held at this Sunday’s Titans-49ers game at LP Field.
Frequently, adult patients discharged from Saint Thomas Hospitals do not have clothing to wear home. This can be because they are homeless, or their clothes had to be cut off of them upon hospital admission and they simply do not have anyone to bring them a change of clothing. A patient in need of clothing will be provided clean, laundered clothing from Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital’s Patient Clothing Closet.
“One of our most important missions at Saint Thomas Health hospitals is to care for the poor and vulnerable. We are very excited about the Tennessee Titans supporting our mission and making it possible to provide clothing to those patients in need,” said Bernie Sherry, President and CEO of Nashville Inpatient Operations, Saint Thomas Health.
Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital is the largest not-for-profit community hospital in Middle Tennessee.
