attack that gained 282 yards on the ground (second-highest in franchise history),
as the Titans opened up the 2007 season with an impressive 13-10 victory over
the Jaguars at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. LenDale White added 66 rushing
yards for the Titans, who won their season opener for the first time since 2004.
Vince Young completed 11-of-18 passes for 78 yards, but it was his two-yard touchdown
run that put the Titans ahead for good, 13-10, in the third quarter. Tennessee's
defense, meanwhile, limited the Jaguars to 72 rushing yards, including a combined
48 yards by Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew. The Titans held a 36:55 to 23:05
time of possession advantage.
