Matt Bryant's 43-yard field goal with 11 seconds remaining gave the Buccaneers
a 13-10 victory over the Titans Sunday in Tampa. The Winning drive came after
Tennesee's backup quarterback Kerry Collins, who was filling in for an injured
Vince Young (strained quad), led a 13-play, 86-yard scoring drive that resulted
in LenDale White's 2-yard touchdown run, tying the game at 10 with 1:17 remaining.
But Jeff Garcia, who passed for 274 yards and a touchdown, continued to make big
plays when he needed to, leading the Bucs downfield and into scoring position
for the game-winning field goal. Young, who completed 11-of-14 passes for 120
yards, left the game midway through the third quarter after scrambling for a 2-yard
gain near the sideline. Collins filled in admirably, completing 10-of-20 passes
for 125 yards, but Tennessee's defense couldn't make the key stop on Tampa Bay's final
drive. The Titans, who fell to 3-2, will look to rebound next Sunday at Houston.
The Bucs improved to 4-2 on the season.
