WR Justin Gage was one of Tennessee's offensive highlights, tying his career-high
with seven receptions for 90 yards.
In Week 1, the Titans surprised everyone but themselves by grinding out a critical
win on a division opponent’s home turf. Sunday in Nashville, the Jaguars returned
the favor. Maurice Jones-Drew rushed for 101 of Jacksonville's 166 yards on the
ground as the Jaguars pulled into a second-place tie with Tennessee in the AFC
South with a 28-13 victory at LP Field. Vince Young threw for a career-high 257
yards and a touchdown, while running for another 52 yards, but Jacksonville's
defense held Titans running backs to a combined 10 yards. Wide receiver Justin
Gage, meanwhile, tied his career-high with a game-high seven catches for 90 yards
and an acrobatic touchdown. The Titans (6-4), who remain one game back of division-leader Indianapolis, will
look to rebound next week at Denver on Monday Night Football.
