NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans added veteran C Steve Vallos and LB Kendrick Adams to their roster. The Titans waived LB David Gilbert and OL Viondy Merisma to make room for the additions.

Vallos (6-3, 310) is a veteran of six NFL seasons and has 59 games of NFL experience. Last season, he played in 15 games for the AFC Champion Denver Broncos. He also saw time with Philadelphia, Jacksonville, Cleveland and Seattle. Vallos entered the NFL as a seventh-round selection by the Seahawks in 2007, where he remained through the 2009 season. The Wake Forest product has logged nine starts during his pro caree.

Over the past two seasons he spent time on the practice squads of Tampa Bay, Detroit, Cincinnati and New York Giants. He also spent the offseason and training camp with the Cleveland Browns last season. Adams played his college football at LSU, where he was a two-year starter and registered 6.5 sacks.
