Posted Feb 14, 2012

Defensive tackle Lamar Divens joins the Titans after spending parts of three seasons with the San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms on a one-year contract with DT Lamar Divens. He has played in five NFL games during his four years in the NFL.

Divens (6-3, 343) has spent the majority of career with the Baltimore Ravens. Last year, he was released after training camp in Baltimore and spent the final month of the season on Tampa Bay’s practice squad. He played in three games in 2008 and two games in 2010 for the Ravens. In 2009, he spent the season on injured reserve with a hip injury. He originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the San Diego Chargers in 2008, before being waived after training camp and picked up by Baltimore.

The Lincoln County (Tenn.) High School product started his college career at Vanderbilt before transferring to Tennessee State to finish his eligibility.
