Titans Agree to Terms with Veteran Safety Aaron Francisco

Posted Jul 20, 2012

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with veteran safety Aaron Francisco.

A six-year NFL veteran, Francisco (6-2, 207) has totaled 75 games played, including 23 starts, 131 tackles and four interceptions during his career with the Arizona Cardinals (2005-08) and Indianapolis Colts (2009-10).

In 2010, he started 12 games for the Colts and collected two interceptions and 42 tackles. Last year, he went through training camp with the Detroit Lions and was waived prior to the regular season opener.

In his four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals he played in 53 games, collected 59 special teams tackles, was a two-time special teams captain (2008 & 2009) and played in Super Bowl XLIII.

Francisco originally joined the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2005 from Brigham Young University.
