Posted Aug 31, 2014

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans claimed three players off waivers today, WR Kris Durham from Detroit, WR T.J. Graham from Buffalo and CB Brandon Harris from Houston. To make room on the roster for the moves, the team waived WR Michael Preston, DB Khalid Wooten and C Steve Vallos.

Additionally, Tennessee agreed to terms with six players that will join the practice squad: OL Justin McCray, T Will Poehls, DL Chigbo Anunoby, LB Brandon Copeland, RB Antonio Andrews and WR Rico Richardson. All of the players were with the Titans during training camp.

Durham (6-6, 216) joins the Titans after two seasons (2012-13) in Detroit and one year with Seattle, who drafted him in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He has totaled 49 career receptions, including a career-high 38 last year, for 645 career yards and three touchdowns. Durham played his college football at the University of Georgia, where he played in 47 games and accounted for 64 receptions for 1,109 yards.

Graham (5-11, 188) was a third-round selection by the Buffalo Bills in the 2012 NFL Draft. Over the last two seasons, he has played in 31 games for the Bills, including 17 starts, and recorded 54 receptions for 683 yards and three touchdowns. As a senior at North Carolina State, Graham was the leading receiver and returner, totaling 46 receptions for 757 yards and seven touchdowns as a receiver, an 11.5-yard average on punt returns and a 22.4-yard average on kickoff returns.

Harris (5-10, 189) was a second-round pick by the Houston Texans in the 2011 NFL Draft. During his three years with the Texans, he has played in 31 games and tallied 33 tackles as a reserve/nickel corner. He was a three-year starter at the University of Miami, where he totaled 132 career tackles, four interceptions, 28 passes defensed and five forced fumbles.
