Titans Reach 53-Player Roster Limit

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans have named their 53-man roster in compliance with the 3 p.m., CT league deadline.

Here’s a list of the cuts: 

T Jeff Adams, CB Ri’Shard Anderson, RB Antonio Andrews, DL Chigbo Anunoby, K Maikon Bonani, CB Tommie Campbell, TE Chase Coffman, LB Brandon Copeland, QB Dominique Davis, DE Marcus Dixon, LB Moise Fokou, WR Marc Mariani, G Justin McCray, FB Collin Mooney, OL Eric Olsen, T Will Poehls, WR Rico Richadson, WR Brian Robiskie, TE Jason Schepler, CB Winston Wright.

The Titans also placed DL Antonio Johnson on injured reserve and traded DL Lavar Edwards to the Dallas Cowboys for an undisclosed future draft pick.

Quick Observations:

- The Titans releasing Maikon Bonani means that Travis Coons has won the kicking competition for now.

- The Titans parted ways with receiver Marc Mariani. Whisenhunt had this to say about Mariani at Friday’s press conference. “I wish Marc the best.  I have enjoyed my time with Marc.  He is a good, young man.  I wish him the best in his continued pursuit.”
