Coach Mularkey's Friday Practice Transcript

Posted Oct 20, 2017

Titans head coach Mike Mularkey addresses reporters following Friday's practice at Saint Thomas Sports Park.

TITANS HEAD COACH MIKE MULARKEY PRESS CONFERENCE TRANSCRIPT - October 20, 2017

(on how much running back DeMarco Murray practiced today)

He was limited today.

(on how DeMarco Murray will be listed for Sunday's game)

Questionable.

(on if DeMarco Murray will be a game-time decision on Sunday)

Could be.

(on if it was encouraging to have DeMarco Murray practice today)

Yeah, he did more today. I actually controlled kind of what he did.

(on if tight end Delanie Walker practiced today)

He did not practice, he'll be listed as questionable.

(on if he limited Delanie Walker in practice as well)

Yeah, just being smart.

(on if OLB Derrick Morgan practiced today)

He was limited and he's questionable as well.

(on with the possibility of Derrick Morgan being out on Sunday, if there will be an opportunity for OLB Kevin Dodd to step in and 'show what he's got')

It could be. Yeah, it would have to be.

(on if the players listed as questionable are at the point in their careers where they could still play without getting a full week of practice in)

Yes, I would say that. That's fair to say.

(on if there will be another running back on the active roster in case DeMarco Murray can't play)

It'll be a discussion, but that could go either way. We talk about every position when we talk about these seven inactives, all the way up until an hour-and-a-half before.

(on if FB Jalston Fowler could step in as a tail back if needed)

Sure he could.

(on resting players knowing that the bye week is on the horizon, and if that's an added benefit)

That comes into consideration, it certainly does. And that'll be in those discussions as well.
