NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with former Ravens receiver/returner Michael Campanaro.

Campanaro, who visited Saint Thomas Sports Park last week, gives the Titans a proven return man, and additional depth at the receiver position.

Campanaro (5-9, 191) earned PFWA All-AFC honors as a punt returner in 2017, registering career highs in punt return yards (291) and attempts (27), including a 77-yard return for a touchdown against the Bears. He also posted a career-best 173 receiving yards on 19 catches, and one touchdown.

In four NFL seasons, Campanaro has averaged 11.4 yards on 37 punt returns, and 26.4 yards on nine kick returns.

He also has 31 career catches for 310 yards, and two touchdowns, in his career. The versatile Campanaro has also been used in the run game, and has 10 carries for 131 yards and a touchdown in his career. He’s played in 24 games over the past four seasons.

Campanaro, 27, was originally selected in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Wake Forest.

The Titans return Rishard Matthews, Corey Davis and Taywan Taylor at the receiver position, and Tajae Sharpe is ready to return after spending last season on Injured Reserve following an offseason foot injury in 2017. Darrius Jennings and Zach Pascal are also expected to compete in training camp. The Titans could add further depth later in the offseason, in free agency and/or the NFL Draft.

The Titans began their offseason program on Monday.

The team has a minicamp scheduled at STSP later this month.
