NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Titans selected Alabama fullback Jalston Fowler with their second fourth-round pick (108 overall) in the 2015 NFL Draft.

A powerful fullback who provided the added dimension of blocking and pass catching for Alabama, Fowler represented the fourth offensive player taken in Tennessee's first five picks.

Fowler played in 53 career games, serving as a fullback, running back, h-back, tight end and on special teams. He carried the ball 113 times for 755 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 6.5 yards per carry. He also caught 19 career passes with seven going for touchdowns.

Fowler had his best season in 2011 running for 385 yards and four touchdowns while sharing carries in the Alabama backfield with Trent Richardson and Eddie Lacy. A knee injury ended the 2012 season for the 5-foot-11, 254-pound Fowler, but he started five games as a senior last season running for 69 yards and catching 11 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns.

He also played in the Senior Bowl for the South, while the Titans coaching staff handled the North squad.
