Titans Agree to Terms With ILB Kenneth Murray Jr.

NASHVILLE – The Titans have added a new member to the middle of their defense.

On Thursday, the team officially agreed to terms with linebacker Kenneth Murray Jr.

A former first-round pick (23rd overall) of the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2020 NFL Draft, Murray has played the past four seasons with the Chargers.

Murray has played in 59 games, with 53 starts, and he's tallied 321 tackles, five sacks, 10 passes defensed, two interceptions and one forced fumbles over the past four seasons.

In 2023, the 6-foot-2, 242-pound Murray started 15 games and he totaled 107 tackles, three sacks and four passes defensed, along with an interception, as a three-down linebacker for the Chargers.

Murray played in college at Oklahoma, where he earned first-team All-Big 12 recognition and was a semifinalist in 2019 for the Bednarik and Butkus awards.

Earlier this week, former Titans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair agreed to terms with the Houston Texans in free agency.
