Biography

Terrell Williams has 20 years of coaching experience, including six seasons in the NFL.

His most recent stop was three years (2015-17) with the Miami Dolphins coaching the defensive line.

During his three seasons with the Dolphins, DE Cameron Wake tallied 29 sacks, which was the eighth-highest total by a player, and DT Ndamukong Suh totaled the eighth-highest number of sacks (15.5) among defensive tackles.

Williams spent three seasons (2012-14) with the Oakland Raiders and the defense over that period ranked 10th in rushing average (4.05/attempt).

Prior to joining the NFL coaching ranks, Williams spent 14 years as a college coach. He spent two years (2010-11) at Texas A&M, where the Aggies led the nation in sacks (51) in 2011. Other stops for Williams included Purdue (2006-09), Akron (2004-05), Youngstown State (2002-03), North Carolina A&T (1999-2001) and Fort Scott Community College (1998).

A native of Los Angeles, Williams played nose tackle at East Carolina.
