Biography

Richie Wessman is in his fifth season with the Titans, second as a coach and first as quality control - offense.

In his current position he fills a variety of roles in game preparation, including film work and assisting with the offensive line. In his first three seasons with Tennessee, Wessman was an administrative assistant in the coaching department.

Prior to joining the Titans, Wessman spent two seasons (2003-04) at his alma mater, the University of Southern California, as an offensive assistant. The Trojans won a share of the National title in each of his two seasons on the staff.

A native of San Clemente, Calif., Wessman (12/10/80) graduated with a degree in International Relations from USC.  He was a quarterback for the Trojans in 2000 and 2001, in a stable of quarterbacks that included Carson Palmer, Matt Cassel and Matt Leinart. Wessman started his college career at Orange Coast College after graduating from San Clemente High School. Wessman resides in Nashville.
