Biography

PRO: The Titans signed free agent offensive lineman Cody Wichmann to the practice squad during Week 2 of the 2017 season. The 6-foot-5-inch, 325-pounder was originally drafted in the sixth round (215th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams. He appeared in 24 games with 18 starts at guard for the Rams. A four-year starter at Fresno State, Wichmann appeared in 53 career games for the Bulldogs and was a two-time All-Mountain West selection.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:  
•    The Mariposa, Calif. native was originally selected by the St. Louis Rams in the sixth round (215th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.
•    Waived by the Rams on Sept. 2, 2017.
•    Signed by the Titans to the practice squad on Sept. 12, 2017.

COLLEGE:
•    Appeared in 53 games and made 50 starts at both right tackle and right guard for Fresno State. Was a two-time All-Mountain West selection, garnering second-team accolades as a senior and honorable mention as a junior.
•    As a senior (2014), started and played in all 14 games at right guard. Blocked for an offense that produced 406.1 total yards of offense per game.
Earned second-team All-Mountain West honors.
•    As a junior (2013), started all 13 games at right guard. Was part of the Bulldog offense that led the FBS in passing with 394.8 yards per game and ranked third in total offense with 547.8 yards per game.
•    As a sophomore (2012), appeared in all 13 games and made eight starts at right tackle and five starts at right guard. Blocked for a Fresno State offense that ranked 17th nationally in scoring, 12th in passing and 16th in total offense.
•    As a redshirt freshman (2011), saw action in 13 games and made 10 starts. Helped the Bulldog offense average 411.8 yards per game.
•    Redshirted in 2010.
•    Majored in criminology-law enforecement at Fresno State.

•    Attended Mariposa (Calif.) High School and played on the offensive line and as a tight end.
•    Hobbies include rafting, fishing and swimming.
