PRO: The Titans signed Pro Bowl returner Eric Weems during the 2017 offseason to add veteran presence and leadership to the special teams unit. Originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in 2007, Weems’ extensive special teams experience is evident through his decorated nine-year career in the NFL. He was named to the 2010 Pro Bowl as a return specialist after ranking third in the NFL with a career-high 27.5 yard kickoff return average, and posting both one kick and punt return touchdown. He has also tallied 353 receiving yards with four touchdowns over his career as a Falcon (2007-11, 14-16) and as a Chicago Bear (2012-13). He has tallied 102 total special teams tackles over 10 seasons. Weems handled return duties in six playoff games with Atlanta, most recently in Super Bowl LI.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
•    Elected to the Pro Bowl as a return specialist in 2010 after ranking third in the NFL with a career-high 27.5 yard kickoff return average and posting both one kick and punt return touchdown, respectively. Set a Falcons franchise record when he returned a kickoff 102 yards for a touchdown at Tampa Bay (12/5). Weems then tied that long with a 102-yard return for a touchdown in the Divisional Playoff game against Green Bay (1/15/11). Also returned a 55-yard punt for a touchdown at Carolina (12/12) to add to his Pro Bowl season resume.
•    In 2009, scored two touchdowns in two contests as a reserve wide receiver for Atlanta including a 30-yard score at Dallas (10/25). Both touchdown receptions came in the fourth quarter.
•     Weems has participated in all 16 regular season games for eight consecutive seasons (2009-16) with Atlanta and Chicago.

Totaled 185 catches for 2,587 yards and 20 touchdowns, and gained 1,504 rushing yards on 205 carries with 23 rushing touchdowns. Weems also returned 19 punts for 331 yards and one touchdown with an average of 17.4, and brought back three kicks for nine yards. He averaged 100.7 career all-purpose yards per game and notched seven career tackles.
•    As a senior (2006), appeared in 11 games with 11 starts. Totaled career highs in receptions with 69, receiving yards with 918 and touchdowns with nine. Added 145 rushing yards on 27 attempts, two kick returns for 14 yards and 19 punt returns for 331 yards and one touchdown.
•    Tallied the sixth-most touchdowns scored in a single season in MEAC history with 10.
