PRO: Jamie Winborn is a veteran linebacker that will compete for playing time on the outside in the Titans’ 4-3 front. The former Vanderbilt standout is an experienced special teams contributor and will look to make an impact on coverage units in 2010.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 2008, Winborn played in all 16 games for the Broncos and led the team with a career-best 117 tackles and 10 passes defensed.
• In 2004, Winborn played in 14 games with 10 starts and finished third on the squad with 104 tackles and a career-high 4.5 sacks for 39.5 yards.
TITANS TIDBITS:
• Winborn has always been interested in music. He played a variety of instruments at a young age and was “first chair” as a clarinet player as an eighth grader.
• Winborn graduated with a degree in human organizational development from Vanderbilt University, fulfilling a promise he made to his family when he left school early as a junior in 2001.
• In 2006, Winborn started his Born 2 Win Foundation which focuses on benefiting the youth of his hometown of Wetumpka, Ala.

• The Wetumpka, Ala., native was originally selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the second round (47th overall) of the 2001 NFL Draft.
• Traded by the 49ers to the Jacksonville Jaguars for an undisclosed draft pick on Oct. 7, 2005.
• Signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an unrestricted free agent on April 3, 2006.
• Released by the Buccaneers on Sept. 1, 2007 and signed by the Denver Broncos on Sept. 11, 2007.
• Signed by the Titans as a free agent on Dec. 22, 2009.
COLLEGE:
• Was a three-year starter at Vanderbilt where he accrued 377 tackles and 16.5 sacks.
• Started the last nine games of his junior season and placed second on the team with 105 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles.
• As a sophomore, was chosen second-team All-America by Football News and First-Team All-Southeastern Conference after leading the SEC in tackles for the second consecutive season as he posted 141 stops along with 5.5 sacks.
• As a redshirt freshman, was chosen as an All-American by The Sporting News and Football News after leading the SEC in tackles with 131 stops. Led the Commodores with eight sacks and added two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
• Majored in human and organizational development at Vanderbilt.
