Biography

 
PRO: The Titans added free agent defensive end Jimmy Staten to the team during the 2017 offseaon to provide depth and flexibility on the defensive line. A four-year contributor to nearby Middle Tennessee State’s defense, Staten was originally drafted in the fifth round (172nd overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. Staten has spent the past three seasons on the practice squads of the Seahawks, New York Giants, New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears.
