Biography

PRO: The Titans added free agent wide receiver Jonathan Krause to the team’s practice squad midway through the 2016 season to provide depth at the position and flexibility on the scout team. A four-year letter winner at Vanderbilt, the 5-foot-11-inch, 190-pounder has the ability to line up both outside and in the slot. Krause originally joined the Cleveland Browns as a college free agent in 2014, but his first game experience did not come until 2015 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He has also spent time with New England, Tampa Bay and San Diego.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• Made his NFL debut with the Eagles at New England (12/6/15) and recorded one catch for 4 yards.

Spent the offseason and training camp with the Patriots before being released early in the regular season. •    Appeared in 49 games with 26 starts at Vanderbilt during his four-year career as a Commodore. Posted 98 catches for 1,197 yards and three touchdowns. Also rushed 20 times for 196 yards and two touchdowns, and returned 63 punts for 427 yards and two touchdowns
•    As a senior (2013), started 11 of 13 games, setting career highs with 42 receptions for 714 yards and three touchdowns.
•    As a junior (2012), played in all 13 games serving at the team’s punt returner. Set career highs with 25 punt returns for 281 yards and two touchdowns.
•    As a sophomore (2011), played in all 13 games and made five starts at wide receiver, posting 23 catches for 171 yards.
•    As a freshman (2010), started 10 of 13 games played, recording 24 catches for 243 yards and six rushes for 121 yards and two touchdowns. Was one of two true freshmen at Vanderbilt to play wide receiver in 2010.

•    Was a captain as a senior in 2009, earning honorable mention 5A all-state honors.
•    Was also a standout track and field athlete and named team MVP. Finished third in state in the long jump as a junior with a school-record leap of 23-10 1/2 and fourth in the state in the 400m as a sophomore. Was also a member of the state champion 4x400-yard relay team as a senior.
