PRO: Leger Douzable (LEE-JHAY DOO-zub-ul) was signed as free agent on April 5, 2012 to provide depth and versatility to the Titans’ defensive front. Prior to arriving in Tennessee, the six-foot-four-inch, 284-pounder played both defensive end and defensive tackle during stints with the N.Y. Giants, St. Louis Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars. Douzable will line up primarily as a defensive end in the Titans’ 4-3 defensive scheme.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 2011, appeared in all 16 games for the first time and notched a career-best 61 tackles, a sack, seven tackles for loss and 12 quarterback pressures. Posted his first NFL sack by dropping Matt Hasselbeck for an eight-yard loss at Tennessee (12/24/11).

• Released by the Rams on June 28, 2010 and claimed off waivers by the Detroit Lions on June 29, 2010 but released by the Lions on Aug. 4, 2010.

• Was a four-year letterman at Central Florida and was a two-time Academic All-Conference USA honoree. Played in 49 games with 24 starts.
• Started all 14 games as a senior and led team with 7.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss. Named All-Conference USA first-team and was a part of team that won Conference USA title.
• Played in all 12 games as a junior with nine starts and was named third-team All-Conference USA.
• Played in 11 games as a true freshman.
• Majored in interpersonal organizational communication at Central Florida.
