• Clifford’s brother, John, served in the Marines before beginning school in 2008. His tours took him to Iraq and the Philippines. Pete and John’s parents are Susan, a nurse, and John, a jeweler.
COLLEGE:
• Started 19 of 29 career games at Michigan State, including 16 at left tackle and three at left guard.
• As senior, started every game at left tackle and named second-team All-Big Ten by media.
• As junior, appeared in nine games with seven starts.
• As sophomore, named Academic All-Big Ten for second consecutive season.
• Redshirted in 2003.
• Earned bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies-law & society and began pursuing second degree in criminal justice.
