    The NFL will celebrate its brightest stars of today and tomorrow with new Pro Bowl week festivities in 2017 in Orlando.

    Culminating with the 2017 Pro Bowl game at Camping World Stadium on Sunday, January 29 and televised live at 7 PM CT on ESPN and ESPN Deportes, Pro Bowl week will celebrate all levels of football -- from youth to high school to the NFL's best.

    The 2017 Pro Bowl will feature a return to the traditional AFC vs. NFC game format following three years using a revised, "unconferenced" format. The NFL's best will once again be in the spotlight as 88 players -- 44 from the AFC and 44 from the NFC -- are determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches.

PRO: Adam Schiltz was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Houston Texans following a minicamp tryout with the team.  The 6-foot-4-inch, 256-pounder spent training camp with the Texans before being released on the final cutdown.  The Emporia State product spent the 2013 season on the Titans’ practice squad and provides depth at both the tight end position and on special teams units.

TITANS TIDBITS:  
•     Schiltz entered Emporia State as a 225-pound freshman who had never played a down at tight end in his life.  He was a high school quarterback before transitioning to tight end in college.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:  
•    The Ponca City, Okla., native was originally signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent on June 6, 2013.
•    Waived by the Texans on Aug. 27, 2013.
•    Signed by the Titans to their practice squad on Sept. 2, 2013.
•    Signed by the Titans to a future contract on Dec. 31, 2013.

COLLEGE:
•    Played four seasons at Emporia State and tallied 105 career receptions for 1,290 yards and six receiving touchdowns.  Started 31 of 44 games in which he played.
•    As a senior (2012), started all 12 games and set career-highs in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns with 44 receptions for 560 yards (12.7 average) and four touchdowns.
•    As a junior (2011), started all 11 games and ranked third on the team in catches and receiving yards with 33 for 425 yards along with one touchdown reception.
•    As a sophomore (2010), totaled 10 receptions for 88 yards and one touchdown on the season.  Started two games and played in 10 contests.
•    As a freshman (2009), finished fourth on the team in both receptions and receiving yards with 18 for 217 yards.  Started six games and played in all 11 contests.
•    Graduated with a degree in health promotion from Emporia State.

•    Married to Kelsey Schiltz.
•    Attended Ponca City (Okla.) High School and was named an Oklahaoma Coaches Association All-Star.
