PRO: The Titans signed Anthony Fasano as a free agent during the 2015 offseason to provide depth and experience to the tight end corps.  In his first year with the club, he delivered 26 receptions for 289 yards and two touchdowns while appearing in all 16 games.  The 6-foot-4-inch, 255-pounder is in his 11th NFL season and is considered one of the league’s better blocking tight ends.  The Notre Dame product has a knack for finding the end zone having registered 33 touchdown receptions during his career.  

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
•    Entering the 2016 season, Fasano has played in 148 games with 120 starts, posting 279 receptions for 3,088 yards with 33 touchdowns.
•     Fasano plays an integral role in run blocking as well, helping block for four separate 1,000-yard rushers in his career - Julius Jones (Dallas, 2006), Ricky Williams (Miami, 2009), Reggie Bush (Miami, 2011) and Jamaal Charles (Kansas City, 2013-14).
•    After a five-year career with the Dolphins, Fasano ranked third among tight ends in team history in receptions (177), receiving yards (2,104), and tied for second in touchdown receptions (23).
•    In 2012, started all 16 games and registered a career-high 41 receptions for 332 yards with five touchdowns.
•    In 2008, notched 34 catches for 454 yards with a career-high and team-high seven touchdown receptions.

•    Fasano is the founder of Next Chapter Addiction Treatment, which exists to “provide state of the art clinical and 12-step immersion services for patients so they rediscover themselves, learn to build healthy relationships, embrace recovery and live a life free from addiction.”  Fasano’s family was impacted by addiction, and watching the recovery process inspired Fasano to launch the venture.  The facility in Delray Beach, Fla., which opened in December 2015, currently can treat up to 35 total inpatients and outpatients at a time.  More information is available at nextchapteraddiction.com.
•    He established the Anthony Fasano Foundation in 2008 to serve underprivileged youth and military families in New Jersey.
•    Fasano speaks Italian and Spanish fluently.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:  
•    The Verona, N.J., native was originally selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round (53rd overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft.
•    Traded by the Cowboys to the Miami Dolphins along with linebacker Akin Ayodele in exchange for a 2008 fourth-round draft choice (100th overall) on April 26, 2008.
•    Signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an unrestricted free agent on March 13, 2013.
•    Released by the Chiefs on Feb. 26, 2015.
•    Signed by the Titans as a free agent on March 24, 2015.

COLLEGE:
•    Played in 34 games with 24 starts in three years at Notre Dame (2003-05), tallying 92 receptions for 1,112 yards (12.9 avg.) and eight touchdowns.
•    At the time of his departure, ranked second among tight ends on the school’s all-time list for both receptions and receiving yards.
•    Started all 12 games as a senior in 2005, compiling a career-high 47 receptions and 576 yards (12.3 avg.) with two touchdowns.  Was one of three finalists for the John Mackey Award as college football’s top tight end in his senior season.
•    Played in 11 games with nine starts as a junior in 2003, recording 27 receptions for 367 yards (13.6 avg.) with four touchdowns.
•    Appeared in 11 games with three starts in 2003 as a sophomore, contributing 18 receptions for 169 yards (9.4 avg.) with two touchdowns.
•    Did not play as a freshman in 2002.
•    Graduated with a degree in marketing from Notre Dame.

•    Has a daughter, Florence, and splits time between Nashville and Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
•    Four-year letterman and two-year captain at Verona (N.J.) High School as a tight end and defensive lineman/linebacker.
•     Caught 78 passes for 1,460 yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior in 2001, helping guide the school to the state title among Group 1 schools.
•     Finished his career with a county-record 42 touchdown receptions.
•     Was a two-time all-state selection in track and won the New Jersey Group 1 state championship in the javelin in his first year competing in the event.
•     Lettered in basketball and was team captain his final two years. Also played baseball at Verona High School.
