Biography

 
PRO: Isaiah Williams was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Baltimore Ravens following the 2009 NFL Draft.  Prior to arriving in Tennessee, the 6-foot-2-inch, 201-pounder has spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders.  The Maryland product was signed by the Titans in the offseason to provide depth at the wide receiver position.

•     Williams comes from an athletic family. His father, Ira, played football at Rutgers and Isaiah’s brother, Ira, Jr., played football at Wake Forest from 1998 to 2001. His twin sister, Tahirah, played basketball as a guard at Connecticut.  She was a senior on the 2008–09 Connecticut Huskies women’s basketball team that went undefeated and won the National Championship.

•    As a senior, played in 13 games at wide receiver and recorded 10 catches for 124 yards and one touchdown.
•    Played 13 games as a junior, starting six contests and posted 25 receptions for 395 yards and one touchdown.
•    Started 11 of 13 games as a sophomore and registered three touchdowns with 28 catches for 379 yards.
•    Played in four games as a true freshman and caught one reception for four yards.
•    Majored in communications at Maryland.

•    Attended Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.) High School and was a two-year letterwinner.
•    Named second team All-State by the Associated Press and Newark Star Ledger and named first team all-group, All-North Jersey and all-county.  Was also an All-East region pick by PrepStar and an All-Northeast selection by SuperPrep.
•    As a senior, set single-season school records with 45 receptions for 897 yards and 12 touchdowns.
•    As a junior, caught 11 passes for 229 yards and three touchdowns.
•    Also a three-year letterwinner in track.
