PRO: The Titans signed Luke Stocker in December 2017 to add competition and depth to the tight end position.  The 6-foot-5-inch, 253-pounder is a physical presence known for his blocking in the run game.  The University of Tennessee product was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft.  Stocker appeared in 80 games with 56 starts in his seven seasons with the Buccaneers (2011-17) and recorded 52 receptions for 400 yards and three touchdowns.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
•    In 2012, Stocker saw action in all 16 games for the only time of his career and posted career-highs with 16 receptions and 165 receiving yards.

TITANS TIDBITS:  
•    Stocker played in the 2010 Music City Bowl and in the process set a Tennessee record for position players by competing in all 52 games of his collegiate career.  

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:  
•    The Berea, Ky., native was originally selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fourth round (104th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft.
•    Released by the Buccaneers on Nov. 28, 2017.
•    Signed by the Titans as a free agent on Dec. 4, 2017.

COLLEGE:
•     Started in 38 of 52 games played, including his last 38 games during his Tennessee career (2007-10) and recorded 85 receptions for 956 yards and eight touchdowns.
•     Named team captain as a senior and finished the season by collecting 39 receptions for 417 yards to rank third on team in both categories, while adding two touchdowns.
•     One of 10 players to start every 2010 game for Tennessee and only Volunteer with reception in every game, including 11 contests with multiple catches.
•     Named 2010 Mackey Award Semifinalist (nation’s top tight  end),  All-SEC second-team by Phil Steele and was selected to the 2011 Senior Bowl.
•     As a junior, recorded 29 catches for 389 yards and finished second on the team with five touchdowns.
•     Shared Tennessee’s 2010 Fourth Quarter Award presented to players  who compete with intangible values that provide foundation of UT Football   
Program: attitude, discipline, toughness, effort and team.
•     Graduated with a degree in sport management and had begun work on second degree in recreation and leisure studies.

PERSONAL:  
•     Married to Diane and the couple has a son, Liam.
•     Attended   Madison Southern High School (Berea, Ky.), where he was an honor student and three-year starter for head coach Doug Carter.
•     Named  two-time All-Conference and Class 3A All-District  VII, 2006 Class  of  the Commonwealth and 2005 All-State.  Played in Kentucky-Tennessee All-Star Game.
•     As a senior, caught 36 passes for 560 yards and five touchdowns on offense and also made 48 tackles on defensive line, including 21 tackles  for loss and 14 sacks.
•     Also a standout basketball player, averaging 17 points as junior forward,  making All-District and All-Region.
•     Was named Academic All-State in football and basketball.
