PRO: The Titans signed Marc Anthony as a free agent on June 4, 2014.  The 5-foot-11-inch, 196-pounder entered the league as a 2013 seventh-round selection of the Baltimore Ravens.  The University of California product spent his entire rookie campaign as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ practice squad.  He will have a chance to contribute immediately on special teams and will add depth in the secondary.

•     Anthony was a four-star recruit at cornerback coming out of high school and drew interest from Michigan and Nebraska before finally deciding to attend the University of California.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:  
•    The Chandler, Ariz., native was originally selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the seventh round (247th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.  
•    Released by the Ravens on Aug. 30, 2013.
•    Signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to their practice squad on Sept. 2, 2013.
•    Signed by the Buccaneers to a future contract on Jan. 6, 2014.
•    Released by the Buccaneers on May 30, 2014.
•    Signed by the Titans as a free agent on June 4, 2014.

COLLEGE:
•    In four seasons at California, Anthony saw action in 41 games with 32 starts and tallied 138 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, five interceptions for 96 yards and a touchdown, 21 passes defensed and two forced fumbles.
•    As a senior (2012), saw action in 11 games with 10 starts and recorded career highs of 52 tackles and seven and a half tackles for loss.  Tied a career-high with two interceptions and returned them for a career-high 64 yards and a touchdown.  Added three passes defensed and a forced fumble.
•    As a junior (2011), started 11 games and finished with a career-high and team-leading 12 passes defensed, tying for seventh on the school’s all-time single-season list.  Tallied 38 tackles and five tackles for loss.  Had at least a pass defensed in seven of the last eight games, including five in a row.
•    As a sophomore (2010), started all 11 games and tallied 48 tackles, a half tackle for a loss, a team-high two interceptions for 18 yards, six passes defensed and a forced fumble.  Posted a pass defensed in six different games.
•    As a redshirt freshman (2009), saw action in eight games, seeing time on special teams and from scrimmage as a reserve
•    As a freshman (2008), was redshirted in his first season.
•    Graduated in December 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in African American studies from California.

•    Attended at Chandler (Ariz.) High School, where he was a four-star recruit by Rivals.  He was ranked as the No. 14 CB prospect in the country and the fourth-best overall prospect in Arizona.
•    Was selected to the All-Far West team by SuperPrep and voted a first-team All-State selection.
•    As a senior in 2007, posted 77 tackles, a sack and four interceptions.  Played in the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl following his senior campaign.
•    Named second-team All-Region as a junior in 2006 after tallying 58 tackles and five interceptions.
