Blake Beddingfield
Scouting Coordinator

Biography

Blake Beddingfield is in his 13th season with the Titans and his fifth as Scouting Coordinator. He is responsible for coordinating a staff of college and regional scouts, organizing and running draft meetings and coordinating the evaluation and ranking process of NFL draft-eligible prospects.

 

Prior to his promotion, Beddingfield was a regional scout for the Titans for six seasons and filled a variety of other roles, including preparation of the college draft boards and college scouting database, assisting in the evaluation of NFL players and serving as an advance scout for Titans opponents. In 2004, Beddingfield was selected by Titans Owner K.S. "Bud" Adams, Jr. to represent the Titans at the Stanford Executive Training Program at the Stanford Business School where he joined other NFL executives to take part in a wide range of educational programs under the direction of Stanford faculty and NFL personnel.

 

In 2007, Beddingfield was also selected by the Titans to attend the first annual NFL Football Operations Career Development Symposium. Beddingfield originally joined the Titans prior to the 1999 NFL Draft as a scouting assistant. He came to the club after spending one season (1998) in scouting with the Arena Football League's Albany Firebirds.

 

Beddingfield graduated from the University of Alabama, where he received a degree in criminal justice. A native of Huntsville, Ala., he and his wife, Julie, have two children: daughter Anna Grace (8) and son, Brock (5). They reside in Brentwood, Tenn.
