Biography

Brandon Taylor enters his first season as National Scout in 2017, after being promoted to the position in May.

Taylor has been with the Titans for 10 years, including six seasons as a college scout and a combine scout with National Football Scouting.

Taylor scouted the Midwest in his first season and the Southeast in his second season with National Football Scouting and has served as the Titans Midwest Scout for the past three seasons. During his first four seasons with the Titans as a Pro Scout, he assisted in evaluating players from the various professional football leagues and the administrative duties related to tracking and signing free agents. Additionally, he served as one of the team's advance scouts for upcoming opponents.

Taylor spent three seasons (2004-07) with the Carolina Panthers as a Pro Scouting Assistant. Prior to joining the NFL, he spent two seasons working for the AFL’s Columbus Destroyers as the team’s Football Operations Assistant in a variety of capacities.

A graduate with honors from North Carolina A&T State University, Taylor completed his master’s degree in Sports Administration from The Ohio State University. Brandon is active in community organizations such as The Oasis Center and is a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, TN.

Taylor and his wife Quiana have two sons, Orlando, 15, and Garrison, 5. The family resides in Mt. Juliet, Tenn.
