Biography

Dale Thompson is in his seventh season with the Titans in 2017 after spending the previous three years in the Seattle Seahawks’ player personnel department.

Thompson was a pro scout for two seasons after serving as an intern with the Seahawks in 2008.

Thompson helped scout future Seahawks opponents and assessed talent in all professional leagues including the NFL, the Canadian Football League and the Arena Football League. He also helped coordinate free agent visits and tryouts, and monitored the NFL transactions. After attending Santiago High School in Corona, Calif.

Thompson attended the University of Southern California where he played tight end for Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll. During his career, the Trojans played in two national championship games, winning in 2004, won four Pac 10 titles, and won two Rose Bowls.

He graduated with a degree in sociology.
