Jared Puffer

Biography

Jared Puffer is in his 15th season in the NFL and his 10th campaign with the Tennessee Titans in 2016.

Puffer’s primary responsibility is to help coordinate coverage for the Titans, acting as a liaison for the front office, coaches and players with local and national media members. Among his other duties, he serves as the team’s on-field public relations liaison during games, assists in the club’s corporate communications efforts, serves as co-editor of the team’s media guide and maintains the organization’s historical files.

A native of Middletown, R.I., Puffer graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism from Ohio University and earned his master’s in sport management from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. He entered the NFL as an intern with the Miami Dolphins in 2002, before accepting a full-time media relations position with the New England Patriots in 2003. Puffer spent four seasons (2003-2006) with the Patriots and was a part of two Super Bowl winning teams.

He and his wife, Sara, reside in Murfreesboro, Tenn., with their two sons and daughter.
