Jim Arts

Biography

Jim Arts is in his third year in the NFL as Director of Security for the Titans in 2014. Arts oversees the security operations for the Tennessee Titans. This includes safety and security for employees, players and guests of the Titans at Baptist Sports Park and LP Field. Arts also works as the liaison with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies as well as NFL security.

Arts came to the Titans after 26 years as a police officer for the City of Green Bay, Wisc., the last 5½ years serving as the City’s police chief. He has experience in all aspects of law enforcement including patrol, investigations,  SWAT, major event planning, administration and budgeting. Arts graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. In 2006, he earned a master’s degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from Silver Lake College. He attended the 217th session of the FBI National Academy for law enforcement executives and continues his association with the organization.

Arts and his wife, Julie have been married for 29 years and have three adult children and a new grandson, Cameron. They reside in Nashville.
