Jon Salge
College Scout

Biography

Jon Salge enters his ninth season with the Titans and sixth as a college scout in 2014. He is responsible for scouting players in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Prior to his current position, he spent two seasons as a pro personnel assistant, evaluating players from the various professional football leagues, peforming duties related to tracking and signing free agents. Additionally, he served as one of the team’s advance scouts for upcoming opponents. He spent his first season with the Titans helping with the preparation of the college draft board, college and pro point of attack tapes and management of the pro scouting database. Salge has been an official timer for the three-cone drill at the NFL Scouting Combine each of the past four years.

In 2007, Salge was selected to attend the first annual NFL Football Operations Career Development Symposium. Before joining the Titans full-time, he was a personnel assistant with the Arena Football League's Nashville Kats.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Sport Management, Salge served as an intern in the school’s football recruiting department prior to completing his studies. He later obtained his Master's degree in Sport Management from Middle Tennessee State University.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., he and his wife, Sara, have one son: Evan. They reside in Franklin, Tenn.
