Richard Shelton
College Scout

Biography

Richard Shelton enters his eighth season with the Titans in 2014. He is responsible for scouting the Northeast for the Titans.

He spent five seasons scouting the southeast for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2000-04 and was the defensive backs coach for Florida A&M during the 2006 season. Shelton brings five years of NFL playing experience as a defensive back to his job as an evaluator.

An 11th-round draft choice by the Denver Broncos in 1989, he played one season for Denver and another four years for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He earned All-America honors as a cornerback at Liberty University.
