NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Titans have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with defensive lineman DaQuan Jones.

Jones started 12 games for the Titans at defensive end in 2017. He posted 36 tackles, a career-high 3.5 sacks, nine quarterback pressures and a stop for loss before suffering a season-ending biceps injury.

Jones had 3.5 sacks in two games before suffering the injury in the December 3 game against the Texans. He finished the season on Injured Reserve. Jones registered a career-high two sacks at Indianapolis (11/26/17), and 1.5 sacks against the Texans before the injury.

Jones, who played collegiately at Penn State, was a fourth-round draft pick by the Titans in the 2014 NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-4-inch, 322-pounder played as a reserve as a rookie, when he started one game and played in seven contests. But he earned a full-time role as a 3-4 defensive end in his second and third seasons, starting all 32 games during that period.

In 2016, Jones joined linebacker Brian Orakpo as the only two Titans to start every game from 2015–2016.

In four NFL seasons, Jones has 145 tackles, six sacks and 35 quarterback pressures, along with one forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.
