TITANS HEAD COACH MIKE MULARKEY PRESS CONFERENCE TRANSCRIPT - December 28, 2017**

(on the team's injuries)

DeMarco (Murray) did not practice and I'm going to go ahead and put him out for the game. Logan (Ryan) did not practice, and he'll be questionable. (Eric) Decker was limited. There's not designation on him with a hamstring, nothing serious, should play.

(on if the team is planning to call up running back Khalfani Muhammad)

We're talking about it. It's in discussions.

(on if the team would be able to play with just running backs David Fluellen and Derrick Henry if Khalfani Muhammad is not called up)

You could if you think about it. (David) Fluellen hasn't had any carries this year, other than when we played Jacksonville the last time. You could. We could.

(on if he thought cornerback Logan Ryan would have made more progress)

Yeah, I had hoped so. Not surprising, the surface is a little harder out here today than even going into the bubble. I'd hoped to get a few more reps out of him.

(on if they keep running back DeMarco Murray on the 53-man roster in the hopes that he can play the following week)

Yeah.

(on how he likes the tandem of Derrick Henry and David Fluellen)

Sure do. It's what we have. We're going with the guys that have been here doing it. Now Flu (David Fluellen) has a bigger role.

(on how much pass protection changes with DeMarco Murray out)

Nothing.

(on if the success that Derrick Henry has against the Jaguars the last few meetings gives him confidence)

I can say it again: every time he's had an opportunity, regardless of the team, he's taken advantage of his opportunities.

(on where he's seen the most growth in safety Kevin Byard's game this season)

Just his ability to operate back there and get us in the right position. And really, it was impressive how he did it his rookie year. He's advanced in that. The trust level is way up there with him back there.

(on if he's seen Kevin Byard's other abilities come out this year)

Yeah, he's typically in the right place.

(on if he got everything he expected out of outside linebacker Erik Walden this year)

That was a good pick up for us. That's a very demanding position, you can't have enough of those guys. He came in there and did, and has done, a very good job.

(on what David Fluellen brings as a new element to the offense)

Just another big back, very similar to what we already have. He's got good vision, physical player, physical runner, good in protection. Very similar to what we have.

(on what Jaguars defensive lineman Marcell Dareus does to the running game)

It's a stout front, stout, good against doubles. They move their line quite frequently. He's got some quickness up there. He's disruptive, with the rest of them.

(on if he senses a loose, relaxed approach despite the high-stakes of Sunday's game)

I'd say it's pretty loose. Guys have a lot of confidence in ourselves.

(on how he balances having a loose approach and making sure players are dialed in)

Just be who they are, we've done all right by doing that. We're in a position to go to the playoffs because of that, I don't see why we need to change anything with getting uptight and tense. This is as important of a game as the Oakland game was, I can name them all. Same type of game. They all matter to go.

(on if this is the most important game since he's been with the team)

It's the most important game because it's this game. You knew what I was going to answer to that.
