TITANS HEAD COACH MIKE MULARKEY PRESS CONFERENCE TRANSCRIPT - December 28, 2017**

(on the team's injuries)

DeMarco (Murray) did not practice again today. Like I said yesterday, probably a game-time decision. Logan Ryan did not practice. Hopefully we'll get some work from him tomorrow, that's the plan.

(on if running back DeMarco Murray's current knee injury is related to the one he suffered earlier in the season)

No.

(on if DeMarco Murray's knee injury is the same knee as his prior injury)

Yeah, but no relation to the last one.

(on cornerback Logan Ryan having the capability to play even if he has limited practice time)

I would think so. We'd like him to play if he can play.

(on if Logan Ryan has been able to run yet)

Yeah, he has. We've got him on a treadmill, working him. We're hoping to get more out of him tomorrow.

(on if tight end Delanie Walker participated in practice)

He was full-participation today. He's good to go, he wouldn't miss this.

(on how the team has handled the pressure)

Let's see, probably had our most physical practice yesterday in pads. I thought it was probably one of our better Wednesday's, and followed it up pretty good today.

(on if the team handling pressure is internally driven)

It's just the team we have. Very close team, understand the circumstances. Not surprising the way they've handled it.

(on if reading the cues from players makes him feel good heading into Sunday's game)

I feel pretty good, I feel pretty good about it. Absolutely feel good about it.

(on how important physicality will be this week)

I think it'll be, that's what we both thrive on. You can count on that. That'd be worth the price of a ticket to come to a game.

(on if the more physical team is typically the one that wins in this type of matchup)

That's typically every week.

(on if he likes that they're getting the Jaguars best in Week 17 even though they already have the three seed locked up)

I was pretty sure that we got their best in Week 2. So bring it on.

(on what it's like playing friends)

I know all these guys, every week I know these guys. It's more than that right now. I want to beat them, and him. (laughter)

(on if the media overestimates the importance of practicing outside)

I think so, yeah, I do. There's a lot of teams up north right now that they go in in November and never come outside, are just fine when they go out in their home stadiums and play in the cold. A good example is us in Kansas City last year. We didn't practice in two-degree weather and did fine. We'd like to be out, I just think it's good, fresh air, get out on the grass. Today we couldn't get out here again because the fields weren't in good condition to do that. Had all intentions to be out here, but things out of our control. Fortunately, we have a nice bubble to go into.

(on how cornerback Tye Smith did on Sunday and if he played well enough to earn more trust)

I thought he played well, really, for the number of snaps. I thought he was tested early. I thought as he gained confidence, I thought he played good football.

(on if schematically the Jaguars are any different than when they played them in Week 2)

Actually, they're not blitzing as much. That's doesn't say they won't this weekend, they're not just by the numbers. It's not like you're not going to know where they're lining up. You know what the scheme is and it's basically an invite to bring it on. I think that's about the only thing less probably than anything.

(on if running back Derrick Henry previously having success against the Jaguars, specifically in the second half of the Week 2 game, bodes well for the team in the event they need to rely on him)

If we block well, and that's everybody not just the line, that's everybody on our team that's involved in the play, and he runs like he did then it bodes well for us, yeah.
