They also converted their only fourth down against the 49ers.

FEW PENALTIES: The Titans were called for only three penalties for 22 yards.  It was the second time in four weeks they were penalized three or fewer times (two at Indianapolis on Nov. 26).  The 22 penalty yards made up the Titans' second-lowest total of the season (22 at Indianapolis on Nov. 26).

GOAL-TO-GO SUCCESS: The Titans scored touchdowns in both of their goal-to-go situations at San Francisco.  They have not failed to score a touchdown in goal-to-go situations since Oct. 22 at Cleveland, going nine consecutive goal-to-go drives with touchdowns.

WOODYARD OVER 150 TACKLES: Wesley Woodyard, who had 149 tackles entering the contest, became the first Titans player to record 150 tackles in a season (coaches' statistics) since Stephen Tulloch (169) and Michael Griffin (153) accomplished the feat in 2010.

BROWN GETS FIRST SOLO SACK: In the fourth quarter, rookie linebacker Jayon Brown took down Jimmy Garoppolo for no gain.  The fifth-round pick was credited with the first solo sack of his career.  He previously tallied a half sack on Nov. 26 at Indianapolis.

RUSHING DEFENSE: The Titans entered the week with the NFL's fifth-ranked rushing defense, allowing 90.0 yards per game on the ground.  Against the 49ers, they allowed only 51 yards on 22 rushing attempts for an average of 2.3 yards per carry.  The 49ers only succeeded in rushing for two first downs, tying the Titans' season benchmark (two by Cleveland on Oct. 22).

RED ZONE DEFENSE: The 49ers offense drove into the red zone four times, but the Titans defense allowed only one touchdown on those drives.  In the last four games, the Titans defense has allowed only three touchdowns in 14 chances by opponents inside the Titans' 20-yard line.

SUCCOP'S POINT TOTAL: Ryan Succop's 116 points in 2017 are the most by a Titans player since Rob Bironas' 116 points in 2013.   Succop is two points shy of his career-high 118 points in 2013 with the Chiefs.
