Quick Hits from the Titans on Wednesday: Facing Andrew Luck, Lewis Explains Postgame Remark, and the Injury Report

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is back, and he's playing at a high level.

Luck has already thrown for 2,472 yards this season, with 26 touchdowns and only nine interceptions.

He also has a good track record against the Titans, something coach Mike Vrabel has already reminded the team.

"He's 9-0 vs. us, and we definitely want to end that streak," Titans linebacker Wesley Woodyard said. "Vrabes mentioned in a team meeting room. … (Luck) definitely has that confidence when he plays us, so we need to end that."

Titans defensive lineman Jurrell Casey didn't need a reminder. He's faced Luck more than anyone, going back to college. Casey played at USC, while Luck went to Stanford.

Luck hasn't been sacked in the last four games, and he's been sacked just once in the last five games after getting sacked nine times in the first four games.

The Titans swept the Colts last year, but Luck didn't play in those contests because of an injury.

"He's a baller, man," Casey said of Luck. "And he never gives up. … (I played against him) twice (in college), and lost to him twice. And now I've played him so many times here and lost to him every time here. We definitely have to get after him."

Lewis Explanation

Titans running back Dion Lewis raised some eyebrows after Sunday's win over the Patriots when saying these words to reporters in the locker room: "Hell yeah it's personal. That's what you get when you go cheap. You get your (butt) kicked."

Lewis, formerly with the Patriots, was asked about his comments on Wednesday.

"I am a feisty guy – everybody knows that," Lewis said with a smile. "I have to be that way – I am 5-7. So I have to carry an edge, or a chip. So that is just how I am, and that is what helped me to where I am.

"It is nothing personal. It is just the type of person I am, and the player I am."

Injury Report

Running back David Fluellen (knee), guard Quinton Spain (ankle), lineman Corey Levin (illness), and receiver Taywan Taylor (foot) did not practice on Wednesday.

Tackle Jack Conklin (concussion), linebacker Derrick Morgan (shoulder) and safety Dane Cruikshank (knee) were all limited.
