NASHVILLE – The Titans have agreed to terms with former Bengals and Colts tight end Ryan Hewitt.

Also, the team waived tight end Keith Towbridge.

Hewitt entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2014, and he spent four seasons with the team. He spent last season with the Colts.

Hewitt appeared in 12 games with two starts for the Colts in 2018, and his only reception came in the season finale against the Titans -- a one-yard touchdown catch thrown by quarterback Andrew Luck.

In 60 career games with the Bengals, including 37 starts, Hewitt had 22 catches for 220 yards. He also played and started in one postseason contest in Cincinnati, catching three passes for 37 yards in January 2015.

A 6-foot-4, 255-pounder, Hewitt played four seasons at Stanford (2010-13), where he appeared in 51 games with 29 starts while playing tight end and fullback. He had 473 receiving yards and 73 yards as a rusher during his time with the Cardinal.
