PRO: The Titans signed Frank Herron late in the 2019 offseason to provide depth on the defensive front. The 6-foot-4-inch, 305-pounder possesses good quickness and burst for his size and is a versatile lineman who can play at defensive end or on the inside. The Louisiana State product spent parts of his NFL rookie campaign as a member of the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots practice squads.

• Herron was a member of the New England Patriots’ practice squad during their run to the Super Bowl LIII title in 2018.

• The Memphis, Tenn., native was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2018.
• Waived by the Patriots on Aug. 31, 2018.
• Signed by the Seattle Seahawks to their practice squad on Sept. 3, 2018.
• Waived by the Seahawks from their practice squad on Sept. 11, 2018.
• Signed by the Patriots to their practice squad on Oct. 8, 2018.
• Waived by the Patriots on May 16, 2019.
• Signed by the Titans as a free agent on May 29, 2019.

• During his four-year career at Louisiana State, totaled 67 tackles, two sacks, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
• As a senior (2017), played in seven games and collected 21 tackles and a forced fumble.
• As a junior (2016), saw action in 12 games and posted 20 tackles and a forced fumble.
• As a sophomore (2015), played in all 12 games with most action coming at defensive tackle and accumulated 23 tackles, two tackles for a loss, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
• As a redshirt freshman (2014), transitioned to defensive tackle from defensive end. Saw action in four games, registering three tackles.
• As a freshman (2013), redshirted.
• Graduated in August of 2017 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies from Louisiana State.

• Attended Memphis (Tenn.) Central High School was rated as the No. 2 player in Tennessee by Rivals and 247sports and No. 6 by ESPN.
• As a senior, tallied 26 tackles, six tackles for loss, two and a half sacks, and a forced fumble.
• Participated for the East Team in the U.S. Army All-American Game where he recorded a sack for a 10-yard loss.
• Recorded 57 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, and seven sacks in his junior season.
