Biography

PRO: The Titans signed JoJo Domann to the team's practice squad in December of the 2023 season to bring depth to the inside linebacker room and special teams units. The 6-foot-1-inch, 230-pounder was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Indianapolis Colts in 2022. He showcased versatility and athleticism in 16 games played during his rookie season, recording seven tackles on the kickoff team and a stop on the punt team. The Colorado Springs, Colo., native appeared in 51 games with 26 starts at Nebraska (2016-21), where he tallied 219 tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, 18 passes defensed, nine forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: 
•    As a rookie in 2022, Domann appeared in 16 games and recorded eight special teams tackles.
•    In Week 15 against the Vikings, Domann recovered a blocked punt and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown. 
•    In his final season at Nebraska (2021), he was named the team's defensive MVP after compiling 72 tackles, two sacks, five passes defensed, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.

•    Domann's father, Craig, is a longtime NFL agent and his mother, Teddi, heads public relations for their agency 360 Sports. 
•    JoJo's brother Brock currently plays quarterback at the University of Lousiville. 
•    In college, Domann volunteered time at Make-A-Wish, A Day of Service, and the Nebraska Football Road Race. Also spent time volunteering at local hospitals. 
•     Domann played with Titans linebacker Luke Gifford at Nebraska from 2016-18.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS: 
•    The Colorado Springs, Colo., native was originally signed by the Indianapolis Colts as a rookie free agent on May 13, 2022.
•     Waived by the Colts on Sept. 8, 2023 after being placed on injured reserve on Aug. 29. 
•     Signed by the Titans to the team's practice squad on Dec. 6, 2023.

COLLEGE: 
•    In five seasons at Nebraska (2016-21), Domann appeared in 51 games with 26 starts and tallied 209 tackles, 25.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, two interceptions, 18 passes defensed, nine forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
•    As a senior (2021), started all 10 games and recorded 72 tackles, two sacks, five passes defensed, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. He was named the team's Defensive MVP, earned second-team All-Big Ten honors and named a second-team All-American by Associated Press and Pro Football Focus.  
•     As a senior (2020), started all eight games at outside linebacker and led the Huskers with 58 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, five passes defensed, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. Recorded a career-high in tackles despite the shortened season. 
•     As a junior (2019), made the full-time switch to outside linebacker after primarily playing safety for his first three years. Started six games and recorded a career-high 52 tackles, ranked second on the team with 11 tackles for loss, and had six passes defensed, two forced fumbles and 2.5 sacks. 
•     As a sophomore (2018), started two games at outside linebacker and also played safety. Finished with 19 tackles, a tackles for loss, a sack, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and two passes defensed.
•    As a redshirt sophomore (2017), suffered an injury in spring practice that kept him on the sidelines during the fall.
•     As a freshman (2016), saw action in every game, primarily on special teams. Totaled eight tackles and a forced fumble, all on special teams. 
•     Graduated with a degree in advertising and public relations from Nebraska in May of 2020.

PERSONAL:
•     Attended Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, Colo.) High School where he was ranked as the top overall prospect in Colorado by 247Sports. Played offense, defense and special teams. 
•     Helped Pine Creek's team to a 38-3 record during his final three seasons at the school, including two state titles in the Class 4 ranks. 
•     Selected as the Prep Colorado Player of the Year in 2015. 
•     Named to the Colorado academic all-state team three times (2013-15).
•     Son of Craig and Teddi, brother of Brock and Rylee. 
•     Born Johansen Domann on July 28, 1997 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
