Biography

PRO: The Titans signed Lloyd Cushenberry III during the 2024 offseason to solidify the center position along the offensive front. The 6-foot-4-inch, 315-pounder was selected by the Denver Broncos in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft and started 57 games at center for the club during his first four NFL campaigns. The Louisiana State product was the Tigers' starting center in 2019 and was a key component in the team's 15-0 record and the College Football Playoff Championship title. He helped LSU shatter numerous school offensive records and lead the NCAA in total offense (568.5) and offensive touchdowns (93), while ranking second in passing yards per game (401.6).

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• As a rookie in 2020, Cushenberry became the first Broncos center and just the third center in the last five seasons to start all 16 of his team's games during his rookie season. He was also one of two rookies in the NFL to play 100 percent of their team's offensive snaps.

TITANS TIDBITS:
• At Louisiana State, Cushenberry was the first offensive lineman to be awarded the No. 18 jersey (wore a patch on his uniform during the game), which is given to the player that best represents what it means to be an LSU football player – on and off the field.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:
• The Carville, La., native was selected by the Denver Broncos in the third round (83rd overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.
• Signed by the Titans as an unrestricted free agent on March 14, 2024.

SEASON RECAPS:

2023 (17/17 - Denver): Started all 17 games at center for the Broncos and helped open holes for Denver ball carriers to amass 1,810 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground.

2022 (8/8 - Denver): Started eight games at center, totaling 502 offensive snaps. Placed on injured reserve on Nov. 8 and missed the final nine games of the season.

2021 (16/16 - Denver): Started all 16 games at center, logging the most snaps (1,039) among the team's offensive players.

2020 (16/16 - Denver): Started all 16 games at center for the Broncos and was one of two rookies in the NFL (tackle Tristan Wirfs) to play 100 percent (1,100) of their team's offensive snaps. Became the first Broncos center and just the third center in the last five seasons (Garrett Bradbury, Ryan Kelly) to start all 16 of his team's games during his rookie season.
• Against Tennessee (9/14), made his NFL debut and became just the second rookie center and 12th rookie offensive lineman in franchise history to start in Week 1.

COLLEGE:
• Played in 39 games at Louisiana State, starting the final 28 contests at center from 2018-19 while the Tigers went 25-3 during that span. Developed into one of the best centers in LSU history, earning second team All-America honors in 2019.
• As a junior (2019), started all 15 games at center, helping the Tigers to a 15-0 mark and the CFP National Championship. Led team in total snaps with 1,037 and was the leader of a Tigers' line that was named the Joe Moore Award winner as the top offensive line in the nation. Helped pave the way for 1,000-yard rusher Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Heisman Trophy Award winner Joe Burrow.
• As a sophomore (2018), started all 13 games at center for the Tigers and finished second on the team with 973 total offensive snaps. Played every snap in 11 of LSU's 13 games and missed only eight total snaps in SEC contests.
• As a redshirt freshman (2017), played in 11 games primarily on special teams, but saw action in six games on the offensive line
• As a freshman (2016), redshirted and was selected to the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll.
• Graduated in December of 2019 with a degree in sport administration from Louisiana State.

PERSONAL:
• Attended Dutchtown (La.) High School, where he was named to the All-Louisiana second-team offense.
• As a senior, earned first-team District 5-5A honors while helping Dutchtown to an 8-4 overall mark and a berth in the second round of the Louisiana 5A playoffs.
